Description
A rare USM2 D-Bale paratrooper combat jump helmet shell. Shell is marked along the front interior with lot number « 23A ». The shell's exterior features the vast majority of its second layer of field applied green paint. Painted along the front and under the second green layer of green paint is the rank of the former soldier « CORPORAL ». D-Bales are present and have both been re-welded on the field as often observed. This shell was found in the north of France and remained in untouched condition. Choice US paratrooper piece that is rarely offered on the market.
