Description
A very rare late war M1942 German combat helmet. The helmet is a late « qvl66 » with a lot number of « 5924 ». The helmet's exterior is in excellent condition. The factory paint remains matte to the feel with some light scuffs and storage marks present. The paint rates well over 97%. The helmet's interior matches the exterior, excellent. The pigskin leather liner is complete and supple, blue ink stamped with the size « 58 ». It comes with a nice late war unmarked leather chinstrap. A rather nice and rare untouched and desirable example of a late war german combat helmet.
