Description

A superb and extremely rare pair of MP38u40 magazine pouches. Late-war manufactured examples produced in 1944 by the firm « Kimnach u. Brunn, Fabrik fuer Heeresausruestung, Kaiserslautern » using the maker’s code « hjg ». Pouches are constructed from uniquer brown tan canvas material and natural brown leather parts. The pouches still show white makers marks for sewing placement. The stitching is complete and all present. Metal studs are intact and fully functional. Loader side pouch features the same light brown leather closure strap. The reverse belt loops are both properly marked with the weapons designation, maker, date and waffenamt. The pouches are in overall excellent condition with storage wear. This is for us the rarest variation!
