Waffen-SS Enlisted Mans Panzer Wrapper or « Panzerjacke », in mint and unissued condition. Wrapper itself is standard configuration with the body made of later war quality black wool. Factory applied EM eagle is textbook and in the desirable « T » stitching. Lined in two different shades of black rayon, the internal pocket made of black HBT cotton. Belt support loops made from another similar HBT black material. Wrapper still has in a few locations loose threads from the construction process. Wrapper is white ink stamped with size (large) and maker’s code « 627 », also has two areas of white markings found originally from the producers of the black wool. Collar is in textbook form, retains black coated eye-hook. Set up for shoulder straps also textbook in construction. All buttons present and factory sewn. Other than being a superb unissued textbook piece, it was originally sourced by a colleague of ours out of the woodwork in Pennsylvania, USA, directly acquired in the early 2000's from the veteran himself. He probably directly took it out of the factory at the end of the War. Overall an outstanding centerpiece of the outmost rarity for any Waffen-SS or Panzer collector. Choice !!!
