Waffen-SS M42 blurred edge camouflage smock, « Ardennes »
Description
A very nice Waffen-SS M42 first type camouflage service smock. Produced in a pattern referred to as « BLURRED EDGE » and constructed from a smooth linen based cotton material. The sleeves are in planetree 1/2 overprinted on oakleaf base material. Both spring and fall sides are printed and exhibit factory fresh and contrasting colors. All camouflage front and back loops are present and factory period sewn. They are made from planetree scrap material. Pockets are standard grey « HBT » material. Three small repairs are present (see pictures). The original factory drawstring is present. Choice and very desirable Waffen-SS camouflage smock. This blouse was exhibited for many years in a museum in the Belgian Ardennes which closed its doors twenty years ago.
