Formed from a piece of German artillery shrapnel. This piece is well crafted and over 100 years old. Blade depicts the famous Battle of Fort Boncelles near « Liege, Belgium ». Dated « 1914-1918 » and measuring over 20cm. Made by « HEUKERS / 1916 » and dedicated to a soldier « JULES LAIRESSE ». A very nice and unique piece of World War One trench art.
