A period and highly desirable US WWII made fighting knife. Expensive and highly desirable by US troops during the war. A badge of honor to own. Made famous by the use of the Airborne Troops including the « 101st » and « 82nd » Airborne divisions. Period handmade example of the highest craftsmanship. Solid steel blade, excellent brass pommel with all intact spacers. Nicely maker marked along the classic position along the top. Come with a period sheath. Minor use and sharpening present. A well cared for example and perfect to display with any airborne mannequin or US equipment collector.
