A stunning M35 Luftwaffe « zig-zag » geometric three-tone camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET64 » with the lot number « 3222 ». The helmet's exterior features a desirable hand brush painted geometric camouflage scheme in the classic three-tone colors with a nice matte finish. Nice combat used and wear present. This includes some scuffs, scraps and chips to the paint that is covering over 95% of the surface. In the detailed photos below the brush strokes are clearly visible. Split pins intact and secured to the helmet while retaining also their camouflage finish. Th eagle is partially visible under the camouflage. It can be noticed the trace of a rubber band having been applied around the helmet while the camouflage was still fresh. The helmet's interior matches the exterior. Early unreinforced aluminum liner band, the leather is in great and supple condition, lightly worn and conserving the light brown color. Original drawstring is present and retains its complete chinstrap, nicely maker marked ans dated « VOEGELS KÖLN 1941 ». Soldier's name « Lutat » present on the leather and another name engraved on the back of the skirt. One of the harder and more desirable camouflage finishes to find on a combat helmet. Choice!
