Rare first pattern Waffen-SS blurred edge camouflage helmet cover
Description
A superb and very rare Waffen-SS helmet cover in « Blurred Edge » camouflage. A really nice example retaining strong and vivid colors. The entire cover is printed on a cotton linen fabric in the mid-war pattern of « Blurred Edge ». The colors still remain very strong and contrasting. All hooks and rockers are intact and functional except one as showed on the pictures. They are of the aluminum type. All three springs are functional. The helmet cover is photographed on a size « 64 » helmet shell but will also fit a size « 66 » helmet shell. Period factory and complete light tan reinforcement band along the front. Overall a very nice and attractive cover in a desirable camouflage pattern.
