A very rare Heer / Waffen-SS foreign volunteer sleeve badge intended for a Belgian volunteer in the Wallonie Legion. The badge was recovered in the early 1970s, removed from a jacket that had been buried in the garden of a volunteer's family in the Charleroi region, Belgium. This badge shows actual use and evidence of being uniformed removed. Soiling and staining are present. Typical « BeVo » construction. One of the hardest to find armshields to find.
