US M1938 dispatch map case. Named to Lt. Colonel H.C. Brookhart of the US Army. Responsible for the manual on combat tactics against the Imperial Japanese Army. Khaki canvas manufactured example by « GENERAL SHOE CORP » and dated « 1943 ». In very good serviceable condition. Scarce example with history and an overall very nice appearance.
