Rare 101st Airborne Division unit patch. US manufactured example with the desirable white tongue variant and featuring the rarer green back on both the patch and tab. In mint unissued condition.
A unique and extremely rare USM1 front seam fixed bale helmet used by the military police of the 2nd Infantry Division. The helmet retains its original period painted 2nd infantry division Indian head emblem painted over an earlier one. The white painted « MP » initials are underneath. The original yellow division band is present under the application of a three color stripped red, blue and thin white band painted on the helmet later during the conflict. Although unknown at this time for what particular purpose. The helmets exterior is in its original undisturbed and as found state. Shows wear, scuffs, and scraps. It was not stored in the most ideal environment. The two khaki web straps with early brass hardware are present and show straining but remain as found. The helmets interior shows paint loose and some rust. Barely visible along the back and painted in white paint is the name of the former owner « RENWE… ». No research has been performed. The helmet was found a few years ago and comes directly from the Ardennes area. A fresh to market helmet. Unique, untouched and desirable « MP » helmet to one of the most famous Infantry divisions of the war.

Standard and typical buttoned tabs at the waist and sleeves. Front closure by a period standard zipper that is hidden behind a buttoned flap manufactured by « CONMAR ». Two wise pleats along the back and button tab under the collar. Sized in roughly a « 38 ». Period hand sewn 5th Army patch along with a set of nice combat used captains bars along the shoulder loops. All complete and period attached. A choice example.

A rare Austrian M17 transitional Heer reissue double decal combat helmet. The helmet is a size « 66 » with no lot number visible. The helmet's exterior features a reissue feldgrau paint with the period addition of both decals. From combat wear the original dark mustard brown paint is somewhat visible. The decals rate in over 94% with some wear present. The helmet's interior is complete with early German issued liner in a supple medium brown leather. Named both on the liner and on the back skirt. It still retains its early « CARL TESCH BERLIN 1938 » chinstrap. A rare early transitional German combat helmet.

An original Volkswagen « Type 82 » Kübelwagen door. Camouflage with green paint and featuring multiple areas of battle damage. The door remains in untouched and as found condition. Tan factory applied paint is matte in texture and roughly 90% complete. The latch and handle are absent. The door was original recovered from the previous owner in the Normandy Region in France. A rather rare, desirable and difficult to find camouflage vehicle section.

A stellar and superb German sand textured tan camouflage gas mask canister set. This is a unique and desirable set. Olive tan painted exterior with a mixture of sand. Mid-war vintage and retaining all nice ersatz material straps. The paint and sand mixture are roughly over 90% present. Only some wear along the top and bottom of the can. Very similar to the style of camouflage done on Coastal Artillery units. The set retains its rubber gummi o-ring seal. Nicely named to « Hammerl » and matching numbers « 231E » on the can and gasmask itself. Overall a top shelf piece and unique camouflage application.

The paint covers well over 95% of the canister's surface. A normal amount of wear is present. Straps are complete. Early light colors brown leather liner is complete and pliable with its drawstring. Dome stamp is present and dated « 1938 ». Complete and correct natural brown leather chinstrap is present, nicely maker marked and dated « Otto Breitschun Eisleben 1939 ». A very high condition Police combat helmet. Choice.

The helmet's exterior features a true artist style period hand brush painted camouflage pattern. The colors of tan, brown and green with a mixture of sand. Nicely gentle sloping design makes this helmet very attractive with top shelf eye appeal. Normal to minor combat wear is present. Split-pins intact, tightly secured and retaining also their finish. The helmet's exterior shows use and wear yet in good overall shape. Partial leather liner is present, shows use and blood stained. Void of a chin strap and drawstring. A very nice and rare early war US jerrycan in tropical paint, captured and repurposed for German use. The jerry can is in very good condition. Features a period tan camouflage paint. Retains well over 90% of its tropical finish. Dated and maker marked. Period unit emblem is painted along the side of the can. Featuring a white shield with a green horizontal sword. This emblem is the one of the 90th Panzer-Grenadier division. This division was formed in Sardinia (an island in the Mediterranean) in June 1943. The division was transferred to Sicily in the fall of 1943 and was deployed to all the major campaigns of Italy, including Cassino, Anzio, and the Battle of the Po River, until it was destroyed at Bologna in April 1945. Choice and unique vehicle piece!
A very interesting section of captured US / British Luftwaffe Glider section in camouflage finish. Section measures roughly « 20cm by 7cm ». Made from a classic cotton linen material that was used for gliders. The front shows remnants of the desert camouflage. Reverse shows area and date of capture. « MARTUBA - NEAR DERNA - LIBYA » and dated « April of 1943 ». A recently surfaced example and fresh offering.

Metal studs present and fully functional with no condition issues. All stitching present with the slightest of wear. Of interesting note is the black colored thread used to sew the straps. The back belt loops present, secure, with no issued. Properly and correctly stamped with the maker, year, and Waffenamt « eyp41 ». This type of pouch was used by the armored crew members and also well used by the paratroopers « Fallschirmjäger ». Highly desirable early pouch.

This issue contains some nice period published photos of Waffen-SS troops in camouflage smocks and cover, various advertisements of common daily used products and general propaganda regarding the campaign in the Easter Front. A nice complete newspaper.

The holster shows honest signs of light use to include scuffs and general service wear. Front strap is present and fully functional. The holster is nicely maker marked, location, waffenamt and date « 1937 ». Of interesting note the period modification of the application of the take-down tool pouch attached to the exterior of the pouch. Also the designation of a period engraved « S. » along the front to signify a special purpose for the holster. A very nice and highly collectible example and first time encountered.

A superb period early German Heer M35 greatcoat, it is made from a finer feldgrau wool material with a dark green cloth lay down collar. Factory French cuffs present and nice slanted hand pockets. Factory applied early grey pebbled metal dish buttons present and natural horn buttons along the interior. Interior is lined in the grey rayon material and featuring leather back reinforcements. Nicely white ink stamped with the maker’s details and the size. It comes with a very nice pair of Artillery Feldwebel’s shoulder straps. Sized in a modern day large and would fit over a complete mannequin. In excellent condition. These are very difficult to find let alone in this choice condition!

A beautiful early M1936 German Heer « Grossdeutschland » infantry NCO’s combat tunic. Tunic is a true factory early M36 made example. Very good quality wool and complete with early maker marked interior featuring the name « Herbert Hoff Saarbrücken ». Breast eagle from « BeVo » is factory hand applied and the infantry colored collar tabs along with the « NCO » tress is machine straight stitched. Interior is dated « M38 » with the size markings clearly readable, an excellent mannequin size. The tunic is complete with « GD » infantry pipped NCO « Unteroffizier » matching shoulder straps. All buttons are present and some award loops are also present. Light and gentle wear is present. This is a beautiful and desirable early combat tunic.
An early Heer signals or communications speciality trade patch. Constructed from an earlier larked green feldgrau wool. The red color thickly embroidered blitz for Artillery troops is fully intact with no fraying. The reverse shows the makers trademark logo nicely ink stamped.

This is a rarer 6 pocket MP38/40 pouch. Early-war construction in blue standard canvas with black leather straps and belt loops. Overall condition is excellent and complete. What looks like staining is from the manufacturer of the blue canvas material. This is seen on other various piece of field equipment. The upper back is faintly marked in white ink with the designation for the type of weapons magazine this pouch would have been used for. One of the belt loops is marked with the Waffenamt. A very desirable pouch in blue and rarer than the standard issue green variety.

An exceptional period Kriegsmarine womens signals / communications overseas service cap. Late-war period construction. Factory made overseas cap and composed of a dark blue wool. Featuring golden wool piping. Original period hand applied BeVo eagle. Nicely lined in a cotton linen material in black. The overseas cap is nicely stamped with RBNr and sized in a « 56 ». Overall in very nice near mint condition with just some light storage wear. The US soldier who recovered it as a war trophy decorated it completely with insignia and badges. Purchased directly from a recent estate sale in Pennsylvania (USA) and never before in a collection. A very uncommon and scarce overseas cap.
An exceptional early M1938 German Fallschirmjäger paratrooper three-tone camouflage combat helmet shell. The helmet shell is an « ET71 » with a lot number of « 4199 ». The helmet was sourced out of the woodwork just a few months ago in the USA and saved from the trash bin. The helmet's stunning exterior features a heavy thick « zimmerit » material paste with the top application of textbook three tone camouflage spray colors of brick red, tan and green. Late-war colors as seen on other equipment after « 1943 ». The colors are striking, vivid and very contrasting. Former evidence of chicken wire is present by impressions to the zimmerit paste. In the detailed photos below you can see even some pieces of twigs or natural material that remains stuck in the paint. The spanner bolts are all present and untouched, yet covered in the camouflage finish. The interior is incomplete and retains only its aluminum liner band and partial chinstraps. Some of the rubber from the early pads is present. One of the most striking camouflage paratrooper helmets that we have seen. Choice and Selected Offering!
A stunning and extremely rare matching early Heer panzer wrapper and trousers set. This is a factory early issued set. Black higher quality wool construction. The wrapper featuring sewn-on NCO's shoulder boards « Oberfeldwebel », practice typically observed on early examples. Pink piping around the collar. Machine stitched collar tabs with aluminum skulls tightly affixed. Classic early « BeVo » period hand stitched breast eagle. Buttons remain intact and factory sewn. 2nd class Iron Cross « EK2 » in place, you will notice the absence of a visible buttonhole on these very early examples. Two period sewn loop sets for awards present. Wrapper is in excellent condition and shows very light storage wear and is void of rips, holes and stains. Interior is lined in a classic grey cotton linen material. Proper factory stamped markings are present, including the maker’s details « Georg Chr. Schultz, M. Gladbach », the date « E35 », the size and two unit markings « St./Pz.R.3 ». The wrapper comes with the original first model combat panzer trousers with only one pocket on the back. Factory made example and constructed from matching black wool. Internal belt and drawstrings along the bottom are intact. Void of holes, rips and stains. Full length and unaltered set. Interior is nicely stamped with the maker « Kurwerte », the sizes and depot/year of issue « E35 » (same as the wrapper). This is the earliest set we know of in the collection . A very rare set of first pattern German tropical issue webbing Y-straps. A complete and untouched early war example. Manufactured entirely from two different tones of olive green webbing that is very desirable in todays collectors market. Metal hardware is all present and retaining the majority of their factory applied grey painted coating. All stitching remains intact and tightly secured. A choice example in very nice lightly used condition and the nicest two-tone variation we have been able to see.

A pair of German 7X50 fixed focus armored binoculars. The set is manufactured by Ernst Leitz of Wetzlar using the code « beh », they are serial numbered « 474220 ». The model was specially manufactured for the use on vessels and u-boats. The set is in mint unissued condition. Featuring crisp complete rubber coverings that are still pliable and very nicely maintained their flexibility. The binoculars retains over 99,9% of their factory black textured finish. Optics remains clear and near excellent. Complete with a choice black leather neck strap. A excellent set and impossible to find in this unissued condition!
Rare German 7x50 power binocular case. Case is constructed from blue web material by the firm « HUET/ PARIS ». The firm was incorporated into the Reich during the war and continued to manufacture binoculars for the German Army. Exterior blue web material is in rather very good condition with light scuffs and storage markings. Pull frontal closure strap is present and complete. Interior includes the very rare and complete separation sectional piece which is missing from the vast majority of examples. Carry handle complete and secure. Very nice and highly unusual German army Christmas color decorated paper bag for troops. This paper bag was distributed to the troops in service in Belgium and France, and contained small gifts. It is decorated with Santa Claus holding a Christmas tree in its arms, a swastika is visible. It did not survive many of these bags because of their fragility. Size 32x27cm. It is in very good condition. This is really a highly unusual piece !

Rare and unique variation to your typical k98 bayonet frogs. Rarely seen by this maker and in this material. Rubberized heavy canvas in black color, nicely stitched in white cotton thread gives this frog its unique appearance. Produced by the firm « C. RIESE BERLIN 1941 ». In very good worn condition, the rubber is still soft. A material that is known to have been used by the German war industry throughout the war to manufacture various other equipments including the belts and entreating tool cases.

Closure strap is present and springs are fully functioning, leather coating for springs is partially missing. A rare piece of field gear equipment that could have been worn by a member of the « Felddivision ». Was found in Normandy.

Metal box with its agents against the gas. It contains ammonia ampoules that were used when the soldier was unconscious due to gas, the medic had to break the ampoule under the nose of the unconscious soldier, and due to its strong smell, the soldier woke up. Complete set.

A German directional sign for the «Grossdeutschland » Division's Panzer Pioneer Battalion. This particular sign would have been mounted on a pole with other signs designating a wide range of locations, provisions or services as commonly seen in period photographs. It is constructed from period manufactured plywood. Painted in the basic three colors as other sings of black, white and red paint. The sign measures roughly « 40cm x 15 cm » and is a nice displayable example. The sign is double sided with a small section missing along the top. Overall is very good condition showing proper period wear, crazing of the paint and natural age. This sign was recovered from a fellow college in Austria several years ago. A rare and unique sign to one of if not the most famous Divisions of the German Wehrmacht. Choice.

A very nice early-war factory produced example of a MG34/42 ammunition case in green camouflage. Manufactured from a sturdy pressed and formed stamped aluminum sheet. The ammo case is stamped with the Waffenamt and possibly marker along the classic position under the handle area. This is now obscured from the heavy camouflage coating present. The factory feldgrau blue coating is present as the base coat. The ammo case later has received a single spray coating of green camouflage paint. Case retains its weapons serial number and newer application number again under the top handle. A very nice and desirable camouflage ammunition case for any equipment or weapons collector.

The leather tabs on the handles are complete. This is a desirable ammunition case for any equipment or weapons collector. Excellent early example!

In several areas where normal paint loss is seen you can see the original factory blue grey finish. This is a desirable case with a very attractive finish for any equipment or weapons collector.

On June 27, 1943 a Lancaster bomber crashed in the field opposite this farm. A monument with a propeller of this Landcaster is also established today at this place. It is a typical late-war example. Constructed from thick solid wood. Painted in the classic white background with red border and black lettering. Condition is very nice and as found. Minor scuffs and scrapes from storage are present. At the very beginning and initial creation of the classic A-frame « STURMGEPACK » is this very rare and almost unique example. The earliest known in construction and dating roughly early « 1938 ». The A-frame shows features that would be changed and adjusted as the years went by and developed into a more roughed design. This can be seen in the detailed photos below. To include the reinforced outer placement of the crossed backpack strap attachment hooks and the reversed position of the leather straps. The straps would be incorporated into the main « A » of the bag in a short amount of time and the position would be reversed of the leather straps for easier mounted of the bag or zeltbahn. All the leather parts are in natural brown color and the buckles and hooks are in aluminum. A very unique and the most desirable example of an early untouched and only recently found A-frame to become available on the public marked. Choice.

This superb flare ammunition pouch is constructed from a green cotton canvas duck material. It features all web construction other than the two main closure straps in black leather. The example was originally found with the original web carrying strap neatly folded and placed in the bottom of the interior. It is three letter code and dated on one dise but unreadable and also Waffenampt in the same ink. A choice unissued pouch in mint condition.

The carrying case is constructed in black vinyl and blackened leather, nicely marked with makers details, the date « Georg A. Lerch G.m.b.H. Berlin 1939 » and Waffenamt. The shovel is properly marked with the maker’s logo and Waffenamt. Extremely difficult to find in today's collectors market. Truly a choice set.

All stitching on the set remains complete and tightly attached. Overall a nice matching condition set.
Very nice and interesting M1943 German Heer enlisted mans field Cap, Italian manufactured. In choice condition. Constructed of Italian wool. Two piece machine embroidered insignia that is machine straight stitched and does not go through the lining in a crudely done and continuous pattern. Buttons are typical Italian construction and made out of natural un-dyed wood. Lining is in excellent shape constructed of a thicker bluish blanket like material, nicely size marked in black ink « 56 ». Choice cap of a desirable foreign manufacturer !
Superb German Heer officers upgrade M43 field cap. Factory produced example in typical mid-war feldgrau wool. Cap is a period officers upgrade from an enlisted mans cap. The silver pipping has been nicely hand applied. The original factory machine stitched « BeVo » trapezoid insignia has had a nice and rarely seen period hand applied officer's flatwire « BeVo » eagle on top. The exterior of the cap is near mint with no condition issues. The interior is textbook construction. Lined in a dark forest green rayon / linen blend material. Nicely ink stamped with the RBNr « 0/0117/0011 », year of production « 1944 » and nicely sized « 58 » (large). The addition of wool sweatband pads have been added as well as a wide and correct leather sweatband. A really nice and interesting cap that is rarely if ever encountered. Choice!
Very nice German Heer officers M43 field cap, privately made or possible French manufactured out of nice tricot fabric, full silver piped crown, two button closure in the front has proper pebbled buttons with minimal brown/tan paint loose on the front. The cap retains its period applied officers flatwire trapezoid insignia that is machine stitched. Silky rayon lining in a light tan almost yellow color and is size marked 55. The front half-moon sweat shield is made from an ersatz material rather than leather. The cap is in excellent condition. A rarer and desirable version to encounter.

Insignia is the « BeVo » variety that is nicely factory machine straight stitched. Nicely half-moon shaped sweatband along the front. Properly stamped with « QUALITÄTS MARKE » and made from a blackened leather. Lining is gray cotton and stamped with the caps size « 57 ». In overall very good condition with a few moth damages. A desirable and attractive example in today's market.

Insignia is the typical French made dark green wool variety and is nicely hand stitched.The cap retains a partial leather sweatband that looks to have been removed. Typical factory light grey lining. Size stamped « 58 ». A very desirable and attractive example.

Officers silver piping complete and factory applied. Retains both factory applied buttons. Exterior that has been exposed to light and the environment has turned the color to a light tan. Reverse shows classic green hbt color. Features classic french stitched and ear pull tabs. Interior is lined in the classic lightweight linen material. Ink stamped with the size only « 56 ». Sweatband is the correct black thin leather found on other produced examples. Complete and stitching remains tight. Most likely a summer weight cap for the German army or assault troops. Rare and highly desirable example.
A very nice and rare German Heer officers overseas cap with period officers braid. Earlier feldgrau green wool construction. Factory made example and featuring both « BeVo » eagle and cockade. Insignia are properly attached with the eagle machine zig-zag stitched and a period hand sewn cockade. The interior is lined with a standard dark grey linen material. Washed out markings and evidence of a safety pin holding the cap together. Both eyelets are present and show light oxidation. Sized in roughly a « 56 ». Overseas cap was only recently sourced out of the woodwork by a close colleague of ours. Combat use, soiling and combat wear present throughout the cap. Only if this example would talk to you. Superb combat look !
A true Heer panzer officers overseas cap. Finer quality made example from a light feldgrau grey wool material. Flatwire « BeVo » Heer eagle period attached along the front and classic « BeVo » cockade. Pink colors soutache present and tightly affixed. Silver piping for officers present and also tightly affixed. Some staining, wear and in general a very nice untouched look give this cap a really cool combat worn look. A period German Heer tropical M41 / OS cap cockade. Period removed example and made in classic « BeVo » construction. In very nice lightly worn condition.
